The 2007 VFW National Convention will be held August 18-23 in Kansas City, Mo.
Since 1999, when Kansas City hosted the VFW 100th National convention, the city has had major renovations and changes. Currently, downtown Kansas City is undergoing an aggressive urban revitalization with many new and exciting things to do and see. Two new tourist attractions receiving national attention are the Liberty Memorial, the only World War I Memorial and Museum in the nation, and Union Station and its Railroad Museum.
